I have a new team and I have a new teammates now. I am a Yankee. The Tigers trade me to New York for Kyle Farnsworth. I left today before the game.
This is first time in my career I has been traded. It is confusing times. I am happy to join new team and maybe make post-season but I am also sad to leave behind my old teammates.

I do live. I just dont update cause I dont have anything to talk about. I havent even log in since March. Not that I am busy, I just havent felt like it I guess. People to do, things to see, you know how it is. Busy!
Also Brandon and Shani had their baby Samuel Chase. Congradulations Brandon!
I am trying to think of interesting things I could say... I have a ladyfriend, that I see occasinally but its nothing serious. Her name is Gina and she wants to be a singer. She likes salsa music. And I like salsa music too so this could work out.
Anyway thats all I have to say. I will try to update more. Bye!

Kenny is on the DL now. He has a elbow thing. Chad Durbin is the starter for Kenny now. :( This is not good news. I wish it is april fool's but its not. It's only March 29th.

I haven't update in a long while, and for that I am sorry. Just a lot of stuff goes on and I forget about this jourjnal until I see Brandon updates his journal.
I am in Miami with my kids, we are gonna celebrate thanksgiving together! I have lots to give thankful for! health, welath, my kids health, yes even maribel, my friends, brandon, Javy, lots of good things happens and I give thank for them. also I am thanksful for the fact that no hurricanes come and mess things up while I am in Dertoit for the season.

On the 29th of June I am having a Fourth of July barbecue because we will be on the road on the real fourt hof july and everyone is invited, bring yourselfs, your pets and your spouses if you wish. It will start at eight o clock and then go on from there, ansd there will be FIREWORKS. It will be a lot of fun. If you want to come you can say so here and I will send you an invitations

A happy fathers day to Brandon and Shani, and little Tyler, and a happy fathers day to Mikey, Brooke, Nolan and Tate. Also to Kenny and Rebecca and Jessica and Trevor. Happy fathers days to Carlos and Amelia, Alfonso and Isaac, and also Magglio and Dagly and Magglio Jr, Maggliana and Sophia. Specially a happy fathers day to Bondo, Amber and Mailee too, because it is the first one. And a happy fathers day too to Kyle and Ty :-)

Ivan Rodriguez has been a dad for a long time. His son, Ivan Dereck, turned 14 recently. He also has two daughters, Amanda and Ivanna.
"Just always having the kids next to you and have fun with them, things like that. It's a very special day but I always say everybody knows that Fathers' Day is one day but I think for me, for my personal opinion, Fathers' Day is every day. Fathers are always special. My dad is very special to me and I'm sure that I'm very special for my kids. I think it's a special day."
Rodriguez said his dad, Jose, told him things he wants to pass along to his kids.
"Everything positive that he told me. He told me and he's still telling me, just communicate and tell them the things in life, good and bad, and try to protect them. They have to live their life but as long as I tell them what it is and be careful in things. You're supposed to do this and not do this. You cannot control them after they go to school or when they grow up or when they become a family, they do whatever they want, but as a father, you're always going to tell your kids the best thing that you can give them."
Rodriguez said he appreciates the time he spends with his children and with his father more because he doesn't see them every day.
"Every time I'm with my dad and my kids, I just try to enjoy the best that I can because I'm not a normal dad. I'm a dad that I always travel, my job is keeping me away from my kids a lot. When I get the opportunity to be with my kids, I just enjoy it and try to spend time and play and talk. Same thing with my father, when my father comes over, we talk and we have some drinks, we have fun. We do things just to have fun because we don't see each other so when we see each other, we try to accumulate a lot of things."

What a nice win. Nate pitched well, and then the bullpen came in and did a nice job and nailed it down. Brandon had a fine leaping play for the first out of the ninth inning. Speaking of which.
Court is now in session. :P We'll talk about the appropriate fine before tonight's game since I am the judge, jury and executioner if you will.
